Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Dovsa (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information
when you use the Dovsa mobile application (the “App”) to discover local things to do, build a weekend
timeline, attach optional media to custom stops, share plans, and manage optional Coins.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Overview
Dovsa is designed as a privacy-friendly, on-device weekend planner. Your plans, favorites, custom-stop
photos, voice notes, and local sign-in profile are stored on your device. Optional Apple In-App Purchases
for Coins are processed by Apple. The App does not require a public social network, chat, or cloud sync
of your weekend plan.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use the App, the following information may be processed:
-
Local profile and service data — a guest profile stored on your device; no email
address or password is required. Our service processes an installation identifier, session and
service user identifiers, App and system versions, device model, language, region, time zone,
IP address, and diagnostic logs to support sign-in, service operation, and troubleshooting.
-
Plan content you create — saved events, timeline stops, custom blocks, notes, city
selection, and related preferences kept in on-device storage.
-
Media you attach — photos from the camera or photo library and short voice notes for
custom stops, stored in the App’s local documents area on your device.
-
Calendar entries you choose to add — when you tap to add a stop to Calendar, the App
writes that event through the system calendar editor. Dovsa does not read or sync your full calendar.
-
Purchase data — consumable Coin packs purchased via Apple In-App Purchase. Apple
processes payment. The App sends the product identifier, order identifier, transaction identifier,
App Store receipt, and, where applicable, purchase-entry or invitation information to our service
for purchase verification and Coin fulfillment. The App records Coin balance and transaction
identifiers locally to prevent duplicate credits. We do not receive your payment card details.
-
Device permissions — Camera, Photos, Microphone, and Calendar access only when you
use the related features and after you grant system permission.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide weekend discovery, planning, sharing, and sign-in features.
- Maintain service sessions, verify purchases, and troubleshoot service errors.
- Attach and play back media you add to custom stops.
- Credit and spend Coins for optional features (such as sharing a plan image).
- Respond to support requests you send to our contact email.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Plan sharing uses the system share sheet you choose
(Messages, Mail, etc.). Payment details for Coins are handled by Apple. Our service providers process
session, network, and purchase-verification information to operate the service. Event links and online
service pages may open inside or outside the App; third-party sites have their own privacy practices.
5. Retention and Deletion
Local plan data, media, coins, and account profile remain on your device until you remove them.
Logging out ends your session but keeps local plans. Deleting your account clears your local profile,
plans, attached media, and coin balance from the App’s storage on that device.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will be revised when
changes are posted. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
